My Favorite Assignment

 When I was writing the essay about " how to reduce my stress," I could think about my habit of when I get stress. Sometimes, I don't pay attention to myself, and I don't know about myself that much, so it was hard to think about what I do when I get stress. However, at the same time, it was so fun to think about that. I could find the pattern of the behavior. Sometimes, to look back the past is very important to know myself, and to grow myself.

The Shutter

I saw " The Shutter" which is the scary movie recently. It was made by the Thailand movie company. I've heard the movie is the scariest movie in the world. When I saw it, I was so scared to take a shower, walk at night, and even go to the kitchen by myself. A couple hit a girl by a car at night, and when the man of the couple whose job is a photographer took photos for the woman of the couple who just graduated from a university at the graduation ceremony, he took ghost photographies of the girl whom they hit at that night. Since the graduation ceremony, they started being gone around by the ghost. They noticed the girl who was hit was not alive at that time when they hit. It was already ghost!! The woman realized why the ghost went around them. It connected to the man. The man and the ghost were same high school, and he did something bad to her, and she still blamed him. More bad things happened to him in the movie. It was too scary to watch!! I regret that I saw it. Below is the picture of the movie.

weird tattoo

This is Japanese kanji which means "shit". The guy who got this tatto probably thought its cool! However, it's very funny for Japanese. All Japanese who saw this tattoo might think the guy is stupid. If I were him, I would remove it immediately!!! We also use this word to people who are very foolish and idle

My hometown

   My hometown which has many beautiful beaches is very popular with tourists in Japan. The Japanese people who have never come to Okinawa are surprised how beatiful beaches are. However, the beaches have a big problem that the corals are dying. There is Okinawan man whose job is to protect the corals. He is first man who has succeed to make the corals get birth eggs in the world. In the past, when he was challenged by this work, he tried to commit suicide because the work was so difficult. There was no one who has succeed this project in the world.

my favorite places

My favorite places in Seattle are starbucks, Alki beach, and South center. First, there are a lot of starbucks in every where in Seattle, so it's convenient. Furthermore, the atmospheres of starbucks are very calm, so I can relax. Second, there are good restaurants and cafes near Alki beach. I like the time to take a rest at the cafes and restaurants with the beautiful view. However, I heard we can't swim at Alki beach even in summer because it's cold. Third, I like South center. I love shopping, so when I first time went there, I was excited. In addition, there is my favorite Thai restaurant near the mall. Moreover, I can excercise as walking while im shopping because South center is huge. All in all, I can enjoy nature and shopping in Seattle, so I like this good balance.

I came to Seattle because I had wanted to experience opposite weather from my hometown.
I'm going to stay in Seattle until I graduate from this college.
When I came to Seattle first time, it was foggy and rainy.
Although the weather forecast says it will be sunny tomorrow, Seattle is always rainy.
If you have a chance to come to Seattle, you should go to space needle.
I want Seattle to be warm as soon as possible.
Whenever I go to Alki beach, it's always crowded.
Wherever I go in Seattle, I see Asian.
Even though everyone is envy that I can watch the games of Ichiro of Seattle mariners, I have never seen the game yet.
I heard Seattle's summer is wonderful, so I'm looking forward it.
I heard that Seattle is safer than other cities before I came here.

binding hand and foot

when i was high school student, i had lived at my parents house. i was 17 years old at that time, and it was summer vacation. after i went to practice for track and field club, i went to home, and i took a nap because i was so tired. when i was sleeping, a strange ringing came to my ears, so i tried to wake up. however, i couldnt move my body at all like someone presses down me. i was so scared, so i tried to call my mom, but my voice doesnt work. i couldnt even open my eyes. the ringing was still keeping, and i cant move my body, so i tried to sleep again. when i woke up, i could finally move my body, and it happens sometimes after that day. im still scared every single day, so i always turn on the lights when i go to sleep.

my friend

 i have a beautiful friend who is from iran, and she doesnt have confidence in her appearance even she is beautiful, and she has good personality. when i saw her first time, i thought she is gorgeous because her eyes are very big and she has a long nose. however, she really doesnt like her nose. she always says she wants to do cosmetic surgery to improve the appearance of her nose. she also said almost all iranian women take cosmetic surgery because they have too long noses. i have seen her friends pictures but i didnt think they have too long noses. all of them were beautiful. i think she should have confidence of her appearance more because everyone likes her, and she everyone says she is very beautiful.

Saturday Night

   i went to my friend's house to hot pot party on saturday night. my friends bought a lot of agian foods for hot pot and we made it together. after we ate hot pot we started to drink. i was hangover since friday so i didnt drink a lot but my friends drunk so much and after that they went to sleep immediately. it was so fun so we have gyo-za party at same place this friday again.

Japanese Style of Valentine's Day

   American Valentine's Day has a lot of differences from Japanese Valentine's Day. The last Valentine's Day was my first time that I spent in the USA, and I was very confused. In Jpapan, only girls have to give chocolates to their lovers, but in the USA, also men have to give to women. However, we have White Day that only men give chocolates in return for women's gifts. I have heard Americans give chocolates only their lovers, but we usually give our close friends and collegues of men. I like American style because we can get gifts same time, and we can be happy together, so I want Japan to change to American style.

writing style

i agree the textbook :) it was so interersting to see different writing styles. there was japanese writing style. i thought it shows exactly japanese personalities. when we speak, we always use manipulative way and we dont say what i want or what i want you to know straightly, so we have to guess what you want to say every time. it sounds like really weird and difficult way to know what you want to talk, but its our culture and custom, so we speak by the style since we were born. we can know what you want to say without the word. the textbook says japanese writing style doesnt write a topic and it gives only hints about the topic. its so japanese! american says YES or NO clearly when they talk about something. i thought its also showen american writing style

First class

i have some blogs in japan but its my first time to have a blog by american website :) i didnt want to come school today but i had to take a compass test this morning so i woke up at 7 this morning >< i used to wake up at 2 pm during the vacation so it was so hard for me TT and the result of compass was really sucks lol but its my fault because i didnt study during the vacation at all i just drunk with my friends all the time because i just turned 21!! yay!! actually i really dont want to study but i have to TT ill work hard for sure :) i found the reason to study english hard so i have to !! anyway have a sweed day <3
